Youth Director
Leader: Jennie LeBlanc

Welcome to the Youth Ministry page!  Our theme this year is "Road Trip" and during our journey we will be exploring the life of Christ through the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).  We will be utilizing a curriculum called Encounter as we set off on our journey to learn more about Jesus.

Purpose of this ministry:  teaching young people to know, grow and show God's love.

The ministry boasts a diverse and talented leadership team.  The team collaborates together to deliver quality programming and activities for the youth.

The performing arts ministry is youth led.  The teens prepare and present videos, skits, sign language pieces and special music.  There is also a video team that meets during performing arts  and they work to develop special video and photo projects.  They utilize editing software to create videos for youth group and other special events.

Worship band meets weekly and is always looking for new members who enjoy singing or play an instrument.

Youth group weekly meetings include games, worship, prayer time, a lesson and food.  The youth group is meant to be a safe place where young people can come and be encouraged by the Lord.  Youth will have opportunities to exercise leadership and support one another as they live out Christian values.

The leadership team works to plan and supervise special monthly activities where teens have the opportunity to have fun together and encourage one another.  The leadership team works hard to make activities fun and inexpensive for families.

As a group, the teens and leaders go on two retreats a year (a weekend and a week long camp experience).  The leadership works hard to ensure that teens have several fundraising opportunities to lower and sometimes even cover camp costs.

The youth have opportunities through the church and affiliated camps to participate in mission trips.  The leadership team and missions committee work in conjunction with students to ensure that they are prepared to go on local and international mission trips.

The youth group recently partnered with Children's Evangelism Fellowship.  The purpose of this ministry is to train teens on how to inister to children.  We work to help teens raise tuition for the nine day training and to create opportunities for youth to exercise what they have learned.
