Music Director- Part-time, Salary to be determined

The Music Director is the lead postion. The Music Director must be a solid Christian, believing in Jesus Christ as their personal savior. An excellent proven human relations skillset is mandatory.

The Music Director is responsible for:

  • Ensuring all music is ready and "correct" for each Sunday
  • Coordinating with the minister and diaconate with all the details of worship that entails music
  • Choosing all music and providing it in a reasonable time frame to the accompanist for practice before rehearsals and services
  • To be at the rehearsals and Sunday services to conduct and grow the choir, praise & worship team and all other groups that exsit or are created
  • Overseeing the accompanist and the organist
  • Overseeing all volunteers in music
  • Contributing to the spiritual growth of all around them

 

Accompanist- Part-time, Salary to be determined

The Accompanist must be a skilled keyboardist and a strong Christian, believing in Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

The Accompanist is responsible for:

  • All piano music for services and rehearsals, this includes playing the choir accompaniment, the praise & worship set, and other piano music necessary
  • Will be working under the direction of the Music Director
  • Will share playing once a month at the Nursing Homes with the Organist

 

Organist -Part-time, Salary to be determined

The Organist must have experience playing the organ for worship services. The Organist must be a strong Christian, believing in Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

The Organist is responsible for:

  • Playing the organ for worship services (Sundays and other holidays as are needed); includes the prelude, postlude, doxology, gloria patri and hymns
  • Will be working under the direction of the Music Director
  • Will share playing once a month at the Nursing Homes with Accompanist
